Paula has been an advisor at Class ACT since 2009 and a teacher in the Chequamegon/Park Falls School District since 2000. She has a BS in English Secondary Education from Northland College, Ashland, WI, a Master of Arts in Education from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota, an alternative education license from UW-Whitewater, and is in an MFA creative nonfiction writing program with Lindenwood University. She enjoys combining reading and writing with "all things outdoors," especially mountain biking, upland bird hunting, fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, and camping. Paula's passion is collaborating with students as they design engaging outdoor learning experiences that improve their community.
